24 Jun July 2nd Bishop Willie Walsh “No Crusader” Book Signing
Things have not slowed down for Tipperary native, Bishop emeritus Willie Walsh, following the release of his long-awaited memoirs in late April this year. “No Crusader”, a book of open and honest reflections, has enjoyed success at the top of the bestsellers charts for the last seven weeks. The unprecedented success saw publishers, the Columba Press, issue a reprint after just three weeks.
So far, the book has had numerous events in Roscrea, Clare, Dublin, Waterford and Limerick. And now Bishop Willie will return to his home county to celebrate the book’s continued success. Everyone is welcome to come along to ‘Steeples Bookshop’, Nenagh on Saturday 2nd July from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Bishop Willie would like to extend his sincere gratitude to the people of Tipperary for responding so warmly and supportively over the last few months.
Fearghal O’Boyle, Managing Director of the Columba Press, said, “Because of the respect and admiration that people have for Bishop Walsh, we knew to expect a massive response to the book and ordered a large print run accordingly. However, after the first two weeks we were receiving calls from bookshops all over the country saying that they had run out of stock. This led to our decision to issue a reprint after just three weeks.”
